Mission: Providing free community and health professional programs focused on geriatric training and education.

Seniors in Arkansas can participate in free Healthy Lifestyle, Alzheimer’s Education and Mind and Body Programs funded by a grant to the UAMS Arkansas Geriatric Education Collaborative by HRSA and HHS.

Through federal funding, we provide programs covering a variety of topics including Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, Opioid Education, Chronic Pain, Mind and Body Programs, and many others! Programs are free to the public and by request for large groups such as churches, senior facilities, and other community-based organizations serving the older adult and caregivers in Arkansas. We also offer virtual programs through workshops and educational events, podcasts, online videos, free continuing education and other methods.

We can be reached by phone at 501-603-1965, by email at agec@uams.edu.
