About our medical services

We have developed a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to the treatment of seniors. And we have the vast resources of UAMS health care experts at our disposal to treat various conditions that develop as you age.

Our Longevity Clinic is one of the south’s largest primary care clinics for seniors. And U.S. News & World Report has named our Department of Geriatrics to their list of top 10 graduate programs every year since 2002.

If you’re looking for a great place to maintain your physical health, vitality and independence for many years to come, our Ottenheimer Fitness Center facility is designed specifically for people 50 years of age and older. We offer many classes and also have a water wellness program.

Did you know that UAMS has doctors that will come to your home? If you are unable to come to the doctor’s office, our HouseCall Program will come to you.

Expert medical care is also provided by other institutes in the UAMS system, making it unnecessary for you to go to several doctors at different locations. One of only 20 free-standing eye research and treatment facilities in the nation, the UAMS Harvey & Bernice Jones Eye Institute has recently expanded and is well known for excellent diagnosis and treatment of eye disease. Our Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute and our Myeloma Center are recognized internationally for exceptional treatment of cancer.
